About Pomodoro Technique

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. It uses a timer to break work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks.

How to use it?

  • 1. Pick a task. Choose something you want to get done.
  • 2. Set the timer to 25 minutes. Promise yourself you won't interrupt the timer.
  • 3. Work on the task. Focus until the timer rings.
  • 4. Take a short break (5 mins). Stretch, grab a coffee, breathe.
  • 5. Every 4 "pomodoros", take a longer break (15-30 mins).
